Fun Canadian Style

Robb told us that this is one of the things he did for fun during his Canadian winters. It consists of dropping large chunks of ice on the ground and watching them shatter. It was actually quite fun. The ice is from our water buckets where we collect rain water for our garden and potted plants. We will have plenty more opportunity this week to play with ice. This week it will get below freezing about every night and on Thursday our HiGH is going to be 32.

Speaking of cold here is a picture of the girls after playing out in the snow. Sure it was just flurries, but for those of us who have never been in the snow it was very exciting. The girls came in after a bit and said, "It's cold!" Yep-that's the price you have to pay for snow.

Yes it does look nice outside but it had just been snowing I promise.
