Suprise on the doorstep

So I was coming down the stairs and I saw a dog on the front porch. I looked out the window and there was a Siberian Husky sitting at the doorstep staring straight at the doorknob. What's a person to do? You can't just ignore a beautiful dog like that. We went outside and she was very happy to see us. She is the sweetest, cleanest, and quietist dog ever! She had on a collar but no tags. We called animal control and no one had reported her lost yet. We didn't want to send her to the shelter so we decided to keep her for a while and see if we could find her owners.

We tried to take her into the backyard but she didn't want anything to do with that. So we tied her up in the front yard and let the girls love on her. Kaylah (the major animal lover) was in heaven. She was hoping we would never find the owners. Kristana who doesn't really like animals even loved her.

Robb and the girls even took her for a walk. Robb said he can see how they pull heavy sleds, she was sooooo strong. We got to enjoy her all afternoon. Then our neighbors came home. :( They had found her two days before and were trying to find her owners when she escaped from them. She has since been returned to her true owners, but I wouldn't be suprised if we see her again. She is quite an escape artist and seems to have a thing for adventure.
