We thought this was pretty funny and unusual. This rabbit has lived in our backyard since she was a young and newly emancipated. Last summer, during the hottest time of the afternoon, she would lay in the shade of our BBQs on the cool grass. We've never seen a rabbit lounge like this.
She is so used to us that we can often get about 5 feet from her. Even when I'm mowing the back yard she won't move until I'm about 10 feet away. When she was a baby she came right up to the sliding glass door and looked in right at the girls as they looked at her on their knees right on the other side.
