Big Texas Storm

This year has been quite slow for storms, but we had a couple good ones. One produced a funnel cloud, and when it passed us we could hear the wind swirl around our house. I was concerned that this would scare our family back in Cali, but then about a week later, that full-on tornado hit Moreno Valley, so......who should be worried about who?

Here is a picture of one of the storms coming in from north of our home.

Notice the color of the sky under the ominous clouds? It gets like that when there's a lot of electricity in the air and you're going to get a lot of lightening. By the way that isn't the sun, it's a street light. This is about an hour before the sun would even start to set.
