I love gardening. I love plants. I love seeds. I love flowers. I love growing things. I even love dirt.(If it's good dirt that is and not solid clay.) I planted bulbs for the first time this spring. I got them in the ground 2 months too late, but they were free so I thought I would give it a try and see what happened. The daffodils came up first and then these other yellow flowers (I don't remember what they are). The daffodils are just about done and some pretty purple flowers are stating to bloom. Every thing I planted has at least come up but no other flowers yet. I really hope the black tulips bloom. I'm very curious about what they will look like.

This is one of the Snap Dragons we planted last year. We have several different colors.

I don't know what this little beauty is. In the girls gardening class one of the presenters said she never pulls up a plant if she doesn't know what it is. When this sprouted among my lettuce I thought I would give her theory a try. I'm glad I did, it's beautiful. Anyone know what it is? (As much as I love gardening I'm still very new and can't identify much.)

This plant isn't looking so good but I've had it for three years and it's only supposed to last one year. I got it for mothers day our first year here in Tx. It is jut going to seed and I've let some fall into the pot. I'm also going to save some and try to grow them next year.

I've got my herb garden all planted and am in the process of expanding the vegetable garden. I have peas, lettuce, radishes, beets, onion, garlic and broccoli growing. I just planted tomatoes and asparagus. And this week(hopefully) I'll get all the summer vegetables planted. If only I had someone to do all the inside jobs like cleaning, cooking and running errands I would be able to work outside in my garden all day!

Oh and my rose bushes are doing incredible. I'll take some pics and post again.
