Kristana's Song "Eventually"!

At another of the Rock Band Camps Kristana participated in, there was only a drummer that signed up. Our dilemma as teachers was what songs could a drummer and keyboard player do, especially since the drummer likes heavy metal and punk! I thought that Van Halen's Jump would be a great one, but it wasn't working for them.

So the drummer suggested they write their own song. Kristana wrote the music (with exception of one chord, which the teacher, who played guitar, wrote but that doesn't really count, she the author of the music). The teacher made up the melody as he sang and they all wrote the lyrics. I think the lyric concept came from Kristana, which was to make it about being stuck in a maze (that you hope you to get out of, "Eventually").

Then, one of our other teachers heard the song and said he wants to use it for his band! She's very complimented and excited. In a couple of weeks they're going to come back in, because they want me to record it and post it on iTunes via my account. So we'll keep you posted. Here's the video.-Robb
