A Post

Hello. Yes we are still here. Today we would like to share some random things from our life with you. Here are some pictures of our pond in both early spring and early summer. It's pretty, but it does make hanging clothes out on the line a bit difficult. The lines run between the first two trees, right over the water. Thankfully we have had a working dryer for the last three days. :)
I knew K was most definitely a teenager when she came up to me one day and said, "Mom, can one of the moms take me and E to the mall? And could the mom stay a reasonable distance behind so we feel like we are alone?" So we went to the mall. We bought a bunch of jewelry at Charming Charlies. We lucked out and they were having a buy 5 for $5 clearance sale. We got frozen yogurt, did some window shopping, and the girls got to go to MAC for some makeup tips. Both girls will get to start wearing makeup in Oct. so the lady that did their makeup showed them some good things to start out with and what colors work for them. Let me tell you they were just a little excited.
This is a picture from the Activity Day Girls father and daughter dance.
Happy 4th of July! We went swimming at Pflugerville Lake then went to Old Settlers Park for watermelon, to listen to the orchestra play patriotic songs, and watch fireworks.
This young man from Round Rock just won the gold medal in the qualifying meet for the Olympics.( I believe for the 400m hurdles)
This is one of the skydivers who land before the fireworks show. It was amazing to see how they can land within such a small designated landing area. He was so cool and told us about skydiving and answered all our questions. Kristana can not wait to be 18 so she can go skydiving.
