Trip to the Alamo

The Alamo is right in downtown San Antonio among the modern buildings. It was a large compound but only two buildings are left, the church pictured below (a former Spanish mission) and the barracks. Only the walls are original, the roof was blown off and has been rebuilt. Some of the men carved their names on the inside walls.
This is actually is along the very nice Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. We'll have more pix of this trip soon.
Right across from the Alamo was this little rodeo. The girls got to see a guy ride a bull. It was my first time seeing it done live. It was very fun for the few seconds he was on the bull! ; )
Kaylah lost a tooth at the Alamo, therefore she will always "Remember the Alamo!"
